Deep Dive Friday April 2026

Would you believe the very first dive computer, that worked, was made in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania at Orca Industries. I was in the Customer Service department and lead test diver circa 1990. We’ve come a long way from a dot matrix screen in a machined aluminum housing!
Join us for a casual lake side chat as we delve into all of the cool things dive computers can do for us. Calculate no decompression limits, use different gasses, some can even send texts! We will help you navigate this exciting area of scuba, help you find the best computer for you and get the most value. There are a few computer tricks to avoid as well.
We will also look into the dive planning, using a dive computer for required stage decompression and look at air integration.
Hope to se you there
